My perception of time is shaped by the constant feeling that I have no control over it, and that, on the contrary, I am the one in its hands. I find myself perpetually waiting for something yet to come, or being carried along by something that has already happened. The present never seems to exist, not even for a moment.
Nature becomes the place where my absence from time can take shape. I free myself by disappearing, withdrawing, blending in, and creating something without a specific purpose. It is precisely in the absence of an intended outcome that my actions become free from the possibility of acquiring value for anyone other than myself.
And so I built a shelter, a place where I can hide while, outside, the flow of time continues undisturbed.
The project also involved the design of an artist's book and an exhibition installation.
